Commission a Poem as a Special Gift

On 13th December, Gillian of Heart Felt - wearing her Writer's hat this time - will be coming in from 12-4pm to chat about having a poem written especially for you to keep or give as a unique and thoughtful gift.

We reach for poems to mark the most important moments of our lives, yet it can be hard to find the perfect one for a certain person. What better way to celebrate those you love than to commission a poem written just for them on a special occasion, a gift that will last and be treasured? Your finished poem will be typed and framed.

Gillian’s poetry has been published widely, in publications such as New Writing Scotland, Orbis and the British Council, and has been read on BBC radio among other places. She has previously been commissioned to write for weddings, funerals and new babies, among a range of other topics.

Gillian will bring samples of her work along for guests to look at and to help with style choice.
